The time change started a week early for me. On October 25th my alarm clock and desktop at work automatically switched to an hour behind. Lucky me.
I later found out that the time change date was just changed to be a week later than usual. There was an update for windows XP, but it was never picked up by the computers at work. Everything installed on our computers are controlled by a software group. Good job keeping our computers up to date guys...
Anyway, now that the time change has officially started, it sucks. I get out of work at 4:45. I used to have some daylight left after heading home. Now the sun is almost completely out of sight before I walk out the door. I don't see how this is supposed to save on energy. Now everyone will have their lights on from 5pm to 10pm instead of 6pm to 10pm...
Also, my phone is currently low on battery. You want to know what it does when that happens? The front backlight comes on and the light blinks every 2 seconds. There is no way to adjust this. You would think that when the battery is low, the phone would switch to some low-power mode in case of emergency. Great design guys...
